I have this fascination for futuristic things.  In fact, in my junior year high school, I had for a project exhibit  for our science fair that year a model of a mega-city the shape of a dome I fashioned out from a junk I found in an uncle’s yard.  I called it GEMBERG.

You never know what child-like imagination could create when unleashed.  It’s noteworthy to find examples of this in the bold plans for futuristic megastructures created by one Japanese construction firm, Shimizu Corporation:   Lunar Belt to transform the moon into a giant solar plant, a Green Float island, a megacity pyramid, a space hotel, and so on.

The future is great!
